Terms and Conditions

Effective date: September 3, 2026

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of education.kalmausam.in (“the Site”). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. What the Site Is — and Is Not

The Site publishes educational articles about how Americans pay for and qualify for mental health care — insurance coverage, the federal parity law, denied claims and appeals, disability benefits, and workplace and patient rights. Everything on the Site is general information.

Nothing on the Site is medical, legal, insurance, or financial advice. Nothing here is a diagnosis, a treatment recommendation, an evaluation of any claim, or a substitute for a licensed professional. Reading this site or emailing us creates no clinical, legal, advisory, or other professional relationship. We are not a law firm, an insurance company or advisor, a healthcare provider, a government agency, or an advocacy organization. Communications with us are not confidential or privileged.

If you are experiencing a mental health emergency, call or text 988 (in the US), or call 911. Never delay seeking professional care because of something you read on this Site.

2. Intellectual Property and Permitted Use

All original content on the Site — text, structure, tables, and graphics — is owned by the Site’s operator and protected by copyright. You may read, print, and share links to articles freely for personal, non-commercial use. You may quote brief excerpts with attribution and a link. You may not republish whole articles, scrape the Site for redistribution, use its content to train or ground a commercial product without permission, or present our content as your own. Requests for other uses: support@kalmausam.in.

3. Acceptable Use

  • Do not use the site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms
  • Do not attempt to interfere with the Site’s operation, security, or availability
  • Do not access the Site with automated tools at a volume that burdens it
  • Do not misrepresent an affiliation with the Site
  • Do not commit ad fraud, including clicking ads to generate revenue or encouraging others to do so

4. Accuracy and Currency of Information

We work hard to publish accurate, well-sourced information, and each article shows when it was published or last reviewed. But laws, insurance rules, benefit programs, and clinical evidence change, and they vary by state, by plan, and by individual circumstance. We make no representation that any article is complete, current, or applicable to your situation. Always confirm details with your plan documents, the official government sources cited in the article, or a licensed professional in your state.

5. Advertising

The Site is funded by third-party display advertising, including Google AdSense. Ads are served programmatically; advertisers have no influence on our content, and an ad’s appearance on the Site is not our endorsement of the advertised product or service. Your dealings with any advertiser are solely between you and that advertiser. How advertising cookies work is described in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

6. Third-Party Links

Articles link to third-party websites, mostly government and nonprofit sources. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, availability, or practices. A link is provided for your convenience and is not an endorsement.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use this site — including any action you take or decline to take based on anything published here. Never delay seeking professional care because of something you read on this site. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greatest extent the law allows.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Site’s operator from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the Site.

10. Changes to the Site and These Terms

We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site at any time. We may revise these Terms; the effective date above reflects the latest version, and continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing Law and Severability

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Site’s operator resides, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and any disputes are subject to the courts of that jurisdiction. If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full effect.
