education.kalmausam.in respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects the same in return. All original content on this Site is protected by copyright. This page explains how to report content you believe infringes your copyright, and how a counter-notice works, consistent with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512) and equivalent laws elsewhere.
Reporting Claimed Infringement
If you believe material on this Site infringes a copyright you own or control, send a written notice to our designated agent at support@kalmausam.in with the subject line “DMCA Notice.” To be effective under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3), your notice must include substantially all of the following:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on the owner’s behalf;
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed (or, for multiple works, a representative list);
- Identification of the material claimed to be infringing, with information reasonably sufficient to locate it on this Site — the URL of the page is best;
- Your contact information: name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address;
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; and
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.
What Happens Next
We review complete notices promptly. If the notice is valid, we will remove or disable access to the identified material expeditiously, and where we have contact information for the person who posted it, notify them of the removal.
Counter-Notification
If material you posted was removed and you believe the removal was a mistake or misidentification, you may send a written counter-notice to support@kalmausam.in including: your physical or electronic signature; identification of the removed material and where it appeared; a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification; your name, address, and telephone number; and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address (or, if outside the United States, any judicial district in which the Site’s operator may be found) and that you will accept service of process from the person who filed the original notice. If we receive a valid counter-notice, we may restore the material in 10–14 business days unless the original claimant informs us they have filed a court action.
Misrepresentation
Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), anyone who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing, or that it was removed by mistake, may be liable for damages, including costs and attorneys’ fees. Please do not use this process to target content you simply dislike — quotation with attribution, and factual reporting of publicly available information, are generally not infringement.
Repeat Infringers
It is our policy to terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the access of users or contributors who are determined to be repeat infringers.
